After you have done enough research on a project that interests you, it’s time to write your crypto guest post. But what should it be about? Well, there are plenty of topics that could be interesting to discuss with the crypto marketing community. Although I have my own personal favorite topics that I enjoy writing about, your post should be based on what you are interested in. What helps me write my guest posts is to always have an angle that is worth discussing. For example, if I’m writing about the importance of privacy and how important it is, this should be written from a crypto-centrist’s perspective. The idea here is to always keep the tone positive and make the reader want to read more into it. The other option would be to write a negative post because of some security flaw in a certain coin project that needs to be fixed.
If you’re looking for topics for your guest post, there are plenty of places where you can find great ideas.
1. Your own website or blog.
If you have a personal blog, it’s possible to write your guest post there. Just think of something that you can add to the project and all the information that would be interesting to the readers. But make sure that it is relevant and not just a litter of unrelated facts. You should also remember that people are visiting your website because they are concerned about a certain topic, so focus on educating them about it rather than selling them anything. I wrote this post on Ethereum’s Casper protocol back in October 2017 and even though it is not directly related to Crypterium, I still manage to show our interest in this project because of its importance for Ethereum as well as for our business.
2. Influencers social media account.
If you have a good relationship with one of the influencers in the crypto community, then you can always try to contact them via social media. If they like your subject and if they feel that it is interesting enough, then you might get a chance to become their guest writer. To get someone’s attention in this crowded space, they might not necessarily need to be an influencer per-se, but they should have at least some online presence such as a blog or even just an active Twitter account with a decent amount of followers. Site detail is here.
3. Crypto-focused websites or blogs.
Luckily, there are quite a few websites that publish crypto-related content. Some of them cover news and some of them have their own ICO review system , but almost all of them have some form of a blog section. And if you manage to get your guest post published there, then you will be able to reach even more people and get your message out there. Just think what would they be interested in reading? The only difference between the “real” journalists and guest writers is the fact that guest writers do not receive any compensation for the work that they do. So in order for you to make it attractive for them, you can offer to write about their project if they agree to publish your post first.
4. Telegram channels.
If you’re not familiar with Telegram, it’s a messaging app that many ICOs backlinks like to use for communication purposes. It’s fast, convenient and there are dozens of channels dedicated specifically to the crypto community. You can join some of them in order to get involved in discussions and build your audience at the same time since most of the channels allow guests to participate in discussions.
The best part is that most of these channels are open for guest posts on their blog sections or even accept articles from people who aren’t necessarily interested in publishing new content but just want to share their thoughts on the project that they support or simply want to discuss a topic that interests them.
5. Reddit.
Reddit is a huge social network with hundreds of thousands of users and thousands of online communities, so you have a lot to choose from when it comes to finding the right subreddit that would be interested in your guest post. It’s important to know that most subreddits are very strict about how they receive new material and how posts should be published. If you want to make sure that your guest post gets approved, I suggest reaching out via PM or even email if you can’t find any contact info on their website for Bitcoin. You will also need to follow their guidelines in order for it to get accepted into the system, but after all the work is done and your article is submitted, you will see the results for yourself.
With all of these options available for you, the possibilities are pretty wide. The only thing that you need to focus on is how your post will be received by the audience and if it will be interesting enough for them to want to read more about the project in question.
Besides writing blog posts, there are plenty of other things that you can do as a guest writer, such as creating infographics or just do some simple proofreading. So there is still plenty of room for your creativity to make yourself useful and get paid for it at the same time. The best part about this whole process is that you can work from home, spend time enjoying what you love doing most and make money at the same time.
