can google home call 911

Just because something is an emergency doesn’t mean that it should be. The reason I say this is because 911 can be an overused phone system. When you call the police or fire department, you will still be able to call 911 out of the blue.

That is certainly true of our own 911 system. There is just one problem: People have no idea they’re calling 911. So when you call and tell the operator, “I have a friend who needs an ambulance,” she may not be able to help you because she’s not listening to you. That’s why we created Google Home.

Google Home works much like a smart speaker. It simply asks the user to say something. It then uses the information from your voice command to send you the appropriate information. That information is then displayed on your smart speaker as it waits for a response. However, the difference is that the voice command is much smarter and will likely make a real difference in saving lives. And it would do that if you were the only person who could hear it.

Because Google Home works exactly like a smart speaker, Google Home will not only call 911 but it will alert you when you call it and the emergency operator will be able to hear you. This means that you can take advantage of the voice command feature to take control over your smart speaker and turn it into your personal emergency call system. The good news is that you don’t even need to know how to use Alexa or Google Assistant to take advantage of this feature.

It is highly unlikely that you will be able to get this feature working on your Google Home, but there are ways to make this work. To do this, you will need to add the following three lines to your Google Home app, and then set the speaker to always play a voice message.

When you get the chance to call 911, do so. Because if you aren’t smart enough to take over your phone, you can always just use it as a dumb speaker. Or you can always use it as a dumb speaker and just make it play a voice message.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of features to try and make your Google Home work, but it should give you a good run down.

Even if you don’t want it to, it’s a little unnerving how you can just dial 911 from your phone and it sends the right command to a nearby police station without having to wait for a call back from someone. The only thing this is good for is to wake up the cops to find out who is really on your property.

This is a particularly gross example of Google being a dumb speaker, but the same thing can be said for many other Google services. They are all dumb speakers, but they are also good phones for making calls. They can be used to make an emergency call to 911 for instance. It’s a good idea to use a phone you can make an emergency call from.

I’ve had some people call me that were trying to call me from a store that I was about to buy something. I said to them, “I’m just looking for the store and I don’t have any keys, I just want to call.” They said, “I’m not hungry so I’m going to go to the store first. Do you have any keys?” They said, “No, but I’ll take a look at the photo.
